Tucked in a shophouse along the heritage area of Keong Saik Road,

Arrows Music offers music lessons, specializing in group based lessons.

We group students of different instruments together and teach them how to work together as a band.

Through this, we give students the many aspects that conventional individual music lessons lose out on.

Teamwork, social skills and ultimately leadership through music lessons.

Each student will be able to learn how to lead a band rehearsal, our facilitators will teach them what to look out for and how to accomplish music making as a band.

Our facilitators are industry practicing professionals who are performing musicians in the music scene.

    Zi

    FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

    Embarking on a musical odyssey from the humble beginnings of his secondary school band, Zi has since ascended to become a distinguished ambassador of Singapore’s musical heritage. His journey is marked by illustrious contributions to the Singapore Armed Forces Band, where he spent 15 years mastering a symphony of roles, both musical and managerial. Under his visionary leadership, his team triumphed in international tours across continents, resonating the rhythms of Singapore in China, Japan, Germany, Russia, Sweden, Vietnam, Malaysia, Switzerland, Scotland, and the USA.

    Notably, Zi’s expertise in nurturing talents was spotlighted during the National Day Parades, where he skillfully coached and conducted students with Special Needs, showcasing their percussive prowess. His international repute is further solidified as a representative of Singapore in the Society of International Rudimental Drummers, with significant contributions at conferences in Paris and Bern.

    Zi’s pedagogical journey weaves through Singapore’s prestigious institutions. He has imparted his profound musical insights to students at Nanyang Technological University, Raffles Institution, and Singapore Chinese Girls School, among others. His masterclasses at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, and the Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO) highlight his role as a mentor par excellence. His creative flair was recognized by the SNYO, which commissioned him to compose a piece for their Percussion Ensemble.

    Zi’s versatility extends to numerous Orchestras and Wind Orchestras in Singapore and South East Asia, where he has been a conductor and an integral member. His foray into contemporary music has seen him at the helm of the drums for various ensembles, including The Jukuleles, and performing alongside notable artists like Nathan Hartono, Daniel Sid, and Christo Alexander. He had also performed for Japanese superstar Chage from Chage & Aska during his concert in Singapore.

    His international acclaim peaked with a tour for Rich Brian at the Head In The Clouds Festival in Jakarta and Manila, further cementing his status as a versatile and dynamic musician.

    With over two decades of experience in drumming education, Zi has cultivated a generation of percussionists, with his students achieving Distinctions in exams and international acclaim, notably in the Global Drum-Off competition.

    Zi’s odyssey is not merely a tale of musical mastery, but a testament to his dedication to nurturing the next generation of musicians, making him a beacon of inspiration and excellence in the realm of music education.

    NAzTyKeyz

    Nazaruddin Mashruddin, better known as NAzTyKeyz, is a virtuosic pianist and keyboardist making waves in the Singapore music scene. His journey began at the tender age of 10, where he honed his skills in piano and violin, leading to a unique style characterized by a keen sense of hearing and a harmonically rich approach. His dynamic and spirited performances have garnered him a reputation for captivating audiences with sheer musical prowess.

    A distinguished recipient of the NAC Georgette Chen Arts Scholarship, NAzTyKeyz's talent was further acknowledged when he clinched the title of “Best Keyboardist” at Yamaha Asian Beat ’09. By the age of 19, he was already making significant strides in the industry, collaborating with Hady Mirza (Asian/Singapore Idol) on his hit single “Ku Ketap Kan Menunggu Mu”.

    Post-National Service, NAzTyKeyz's career trajectory soared. He became a staple in the local music industry, accompanying artists like Sezairi, Sam Rui, The Sam Willows, Narelle Kheng, THELIONCITYBOY, Tabitha Nauser, and many others.

    NAzTyKeyz's career hit a new high in 2015 when he teamed up with Gentle Bones (Joel Tan), leading to multiple shows and international tours. He played a pivotal role in Joel Tan's debut concert at The Esplanade Concert Hall in 2016, a sold-out event that marked a historic moment for local artists. His ongoing collaboration with Joel Tan includes contributions to hits like "dear me,", "Can We Have A Conversation", "You're My Superhero", and "At Least I Had You (with JJ Lin)", where NAzTyKeyz also excelled as a Music Director.

    A notable highlight of his career was performing at the National Day Parade 2016, where he delivered the theme song, "Tomorrow's Here Today". His versatile skills have also seen him work with a diverse array of artists and bands including The Summer State, The Stoned Revivals, Tim De Cotta, Alicia Pan, Eugenia Yip, Jon Chong, and more.

    Cementing his status as a sought-after musician, NAzTyKeyz had the prestigious opportunity of being Music Director for Jasmine Sokko and opened for the legendary band Coldplay during their tour in Singapore. This experience not only showcases his remarkable versatility but also his ability to shine on international platforms, further solidifying his position as a formidable force in the music industry.
